We do not sell anything about you.
Short page, because the honest version is short. Last updated 18 October 2026.
What we collect
When you call. Your number, the time and length of the call, and which page or advert you came from. That comes from the call-tracking service that routes our number. We use it to know which adverts are worth paying for, and to call you back if the line drops.
When you fill in the form. Your name, phone, email if you give one, the service, the city, your preferred time, your message, and a photo if you attach one. It goes to our inbox at Sanfranlocksmith62@gmail.com. Nowhere else.
When you use the message box. Your name, phone and what you write, plus the page you sent it from. It goes to the same inbox, Sanfranlocksmith62@gmail.com, and is stored with our host the same way the form is.
A photo you attach is stored with the form submission by our host and is deleted once the job is closed. Do not photograph anything you would not want us to see. We want the lock, not the room.
When you message on WhatsApp. Whatever you send, held in WhatsApp under Meta's terms, not ours.
When you just read the site. The ordinary server log: an IP address, the page, the time, the browser. We also run Google Analytics, which leaves a cookie of ours and reports which pages get read, roughly which area you are in and which browser you use. We read it to see what helps people and what does not. No advertising cookies on this site, and we do not sell your data. Google explains how it handles this on its page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and you can switch Google Analytics off in your own browser with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
What we do with it
Call you back. Send a quote or an invoice. Keep a record of the work, which we need for warranty and for our books.
What we never do
- Sell it. Not to lead brokers, not to anyone.
- Pass your details to another locksmith. If we cannot do your job, we say so.
- Add you to a marketing list because you called once.
Your rights
California's Consumer Privacy Act sets thresholds on revenue, number of consumers, and revenue from selling personal information. A business this size is below them, so strictly the statute may not apply to us.
We would rather not hide behind that. Ask and we will do it anyway: tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. You do not have to give a reason, and nothing changes in how we treat you because you asked.
The one thing we cannot delete is a record we are required to keep. An invoice, for example, which tax law makes us hold for its own period.
Children
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
